I am an adult with mitochondrial dysfunction which has presented as dystonia. HBOT is the ONLY treatment to have any ameliorating effects, any lasting effects whatsoever. Individual free standing Hyperbaric Oxygen centers focused on treating non-FDA approved conditions can chart only their own patients' progress. And because of HIPPA's privacy rules, they are not allowed to share that data with others. This blog's mission is to aggregate patients' experiences across allcenters so that we can learn more from each other.
